1950's - Sir Edwin Venner awarded his Knighthood. Michael and David Venner appointed to the board in 1955

1960's - Venners purchase a main frame computer and produce first computerised results in 1965. Offices in Bishopsgate vacated due to redevelopment. The business moved to Tooley Street, near London Bridge. The National Westminster Bank Tower was built on the site of the Bishopsgate office. Processing bureau (EJV Data Services) established in 1967.

1970's - Optical Character Reader installed for the first time in 1971. First office outside London opened in Manchester in 1973, followed by Croydon, Edinburgh, Bournemouth and Milton Keynes. Derek Fitch appointed to the board in 1977 as I.T. Director.

1980's - Venners taken over by Christie Group of Companies in 1984. Acquired Adstock Stocktaking Company in Edinburgh in 1985.
Introduction of on-site results with laptop computers for all stock auditors, Introduction of new service. Inventory of fixtures and fittings both listing and valuation. Move offices from Tooley Street to George Row, near Tower Bridge, Michael Callis appointed as Managing Director
